Dear Mr Q,
The new Coca-Cola Troops for Fitness program is under way and looking promising in Detroit. It seems that Coca-Cola will ultimately find success in their initiative to fund Detroit’s Recreation Department.
This program will provide an important service to the youth in Detroit and their families. In addition to the fitness expertise provided by the veterans, Coca-Cola hope that some values from the veterans will be instilled in the next generation of Detroit civilization. It s important for the youth of Detroit to have good role models to look up to and inspire to be like, and the veterans serving the CCTFF are the perfect candidates for the job. Together with the city of Detroit and the Recreation Department, Coca-Cola plans to instill good character in the future adults of our fine country.
If you are further interested in the CCTFF program, have any questions, or know of any Detroit veterans capable and willingly to teach at the rec centers, please contact us at (313) 224-1121 or online at www.detroitmi.gov.
Best,
Dan Young
